Austin-based Radiant RFID and CTS Consolidated Telecom Services have entered into a strategic partnership to broaden their reach and enhance market leadership.
Radiant RFID will utilize CTS as an additional channel to offer its RFID product line in asset management, student accountability, emergency management and access control.
CTS, already a leading provider of mobile radio and related services, will broaden its product offerings in both RFID services and potentially other software development products.
"We believe that Radiant's undeniable leadership in the RFID market is a perfect fit for our growing customer base and, along with access to Radiant's software development capabilities, adds a new dimension to our CTS product portfolio," said Pam Faver, president and owner of CTS.
As a part of the alliance, Radiant Director of Sales, Lesia Dickson, will move to CTS as Director of Sales and Marketing.
"Lesia has been a great asset to Radiant in making our emergency tracking products the best in the industry," said Kenny Ratton, vice president of Sales and Finance for Radiant. "Her presence at CTS will help to solidify this alliance as the CTS sales staff begins to represent the Radiant product line."
Additionally, the two companies are exploring shared installation and field support arrangements in the near future.
Both CTS and Radiant RFID are HUB-certified, women-owned businesses.
