CorFire, the mobile commerce business of SK C&C USA and the leading provider of mobile technology solutions, announced the promotion of Jon Squire to chief marketing officer, now leading all sales and marketing activities, and the addition of Tom Zalewski as vice president, sales to the management team.

Over the past year, Squire served as senior vice president of business development & strategy from the San Francisco office working directly with clients, partners and prospects. Squire has spoken at several industry events including RAMP, US Advanced Payments Summit and at Payments Innovation Institute at Harvard Faculty Club.

"While Jon's track record speaks volumes about his contributions to CorFire's growth, his knowledge and insights will continue to help him guide our marketing efforts to reach our target markets," said Sang Yook, chief strategy officer. "Jon's expanded role will empower our ability to provide world class solutions for our partners and clients, which is key to our ongoing success."

Zalewski brings more than a decade of experience in the mobile payments space and more than 20 years in the telecommunications industry to his role. Before joining CorFire, Zalewski served as president at Aikon Consulting, LLC, has played an integral role in many of the first NFC and pre-NFC (RFID) mobile payments trials and pilots and helped create a Trusted Service Manager joint venture in 2006.
