East Coast Diversified Receives Purchase Order for School Solutions |

East Coast Diversified Corporation, through its subsidiary EarthSearch Communications, Inc., recently announced that it has received a purchase order from its Dubai reseller for its innovative SchoolsConnects solution. The SchoolsConnects transportation and class attendance monitoring system is an integrated hardware and mobile app solution that provides a platform for schools and parents to monitor the safety of students.
"This is an application that can save lives by alerting local authorities of a missing student in the event of kidnapping or a child forgotten on the bus," said Kayode Aladesuyi, Chief Executive Officer. "Nothing is more important or fundamental to a parent than the safety of their child. We are very proud to be offering wireless integration between global positioning systems (GPS) and (RFID) that provides real time information about student bus riders and class attendance monitoring."
The SchoolsConnects system will be delivered to two schools in Dubai initially, additional schools will be added on an ongoing basis and the Company's reseller in Dubai also intends to offer the solution to other school systems in the middle-east region. "The SchoolsConnects system offers parents real-time peace of mind by sending messages to a parent's mobile device, or email, to provide real time updates when a student has been safely picked up or dropped off at home or at a school," Mr. Aladesuyi said. "Getting parents actively involved in the education of the child is also very critical for a successful education system, and an important aspect of the solution. Our Class Attendance module advises a parent in real time when a student has been late for class or skipped school. The entire application is delivered using wireless communication between EarthSearch's LogiBoxx and RFID reader.
