Datamars, a leading global supplier of high performance RFID-based solutions for companion animal and textile identification, announces the appointment of Kenneth M. Boyle as Chief Marketing Officer. In his new role, Boyle will be responsible for global marketing and sales activities of Datamars.

"Now that Datamars is further growing into a truly international company, the need has emerged for a more focused and proactive approach to marketing and sales," comments Klaus Ackerstaff, CEO of Datamars. "Ken has a wealth of international experience in various business sectors and a proven ability to understand what drives customer decisions. These key assets will ensure that Datamars continues to provide innovative identification solutions to real customer problems. It will allow Datamars to further expand its leading position in the global companion animal and textile identification markets."

Ken Boyle joined Datamars in April 2007 as President North America. He brings broad technology company experience to Datamars with expertise in managing key functions including sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and professional services. Ken Boyle has provided strategic business unit and sales & marketing senior leadership in prior roles at both European and US based companies. He has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Duke University.
