VeroScan Inc., a developer of medical tracking and detection technology, announced a collaboration with Tyco Electronics for the development and supply of RFID components. The two companies are working together to bring to market RFID systems for operating rooms.

VeroScan's products reduce the time spent counting in operating rooms, reducing errors and improving patient outcomes. The heart of these products is an innovative use of RFID technology.

They have developed new products with capabilities that have tremendous application and are well suited to maximize the functionality of our system," said Robert Hatch, President and CEO of VeroScan.
