Hello.

In my opinion the expression "long range proximity reader" is a contradiction in term. Proximity readers are designed for reading ranges up to 10 cm (4").

I think one reason for this is that proximity transponders, e.g. Mifare, need a lot of energy, more than comparable vicinity transponders.

But if thereŽs still a long range proximity reader available, IŽll be glad to read it here.
